Sweet and Sour Salad

Ethnicity: Vietnamese

Salad dressing:

  • 1/3 cup vinegar or 5 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

  • 1/3 cup water

  • 3 tablespoons sugar

Use any combination of the following vegetables to prepare the Salad: Onion, radish, carrot, celery, bell pepper.
Chop the vegetables finely, marinate in salad dressing, place in refrigerator for about one hour. Some other vegetables do not need to be marinated; quartered cucumbers cut diagonally: finely chopped cabbage; coarsely broken leaf lettuce. Toss the ingredients well with salad dressing and add to other vegetables when ready to serve.
