Serve 4
Use 1 cup uncooked rice. Wash the rice three times or until
water poured off runs clear. Add 1 1/2 cups cold water. Cook covered in a 5
cup pan. Boil over low heat until the water has evaporated (about 15 minutes).
Do not stir while rice is boiling, or rice will be broken and will not remain
as separate grains. Continue cooking over low heat another 15 minutes. Rice
may be warmed over very low heat or in the oven.
NOTE: 1 cup uncooked rice makes 2 cups of cooked rice
1/2 cup cooked rice is prepared for each serving
