Chicken with Sherry

Ethnicity: Vietnamese

Makes 5 or 6 servings:

  • 3lbs cut up chicken

  • 4 tablespoons Sherry

  • 1 tablespoon salt

  • 2 tablespoons chopped onion

  • 2 garlic cloves, well mashed

Combine meat and all ingredients together. Let stand 30 minutes to 1 hour. Charcoal broil over medium fire until done or cook in the oven at 324F for 1 hour.
Serve with bread and Western style salad, if desired, or with sticky rice
