Beef with Onions Bell Pepper and Celery

Ethnicity: Vietnamese

Serves 4 to 6:

  • 2 lbs beef filet or sirloin thinly sliced in 1 x 2" pieces

  • 2 garlic cloves

  • 1 onion cut lengthwise

  • 1/2 cup celery cut diagonally

  • 1/2 cup bell pepper

Sauce:

  • 1/3 cup bouillon

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

  • a dash of black pepper

  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch

Season the beef with well mashed garlic cloves. Heat pan, add 2 tablespoons oil, sauté celery and bell pepper slightly. Remove from pan. They fry the onion and beef for 5 min. Add vegetables, stir in sautéed vegetable sauce mixture. Cook 2 minutes more.
