Wow this takes me back some years! (Not telling how many!)

I love confucious – I had his book of quotes as a child and loved reading it. I don’t have it anymore though but now that you’ve reminded me of him again, I’m definitely going to buy it.

Most of his quotes make soooo much sense it really gets me thinking.

Thanks a bunch!

There are no “superior” men…. only Christ is superior. From what I’ve learned of Confucius, he believed that people are basically ‘good,’ and can solve their problems themselves by proper living. The Bible says that man is sinful and cannot be saved (or solve that problem) apart from Christ, no matter how wise or peaceful a person may be. Sin is the whole world’s disease and there is only one cure… and it is NOT within our power to cure it, there is nothing WE can do, Jesus has done it ALL on our behalf and we have only to believe and trust to be made new and clean (we can not earn Heaven by our works)…. this is where the true fruits of the Spirit Confucius speaks of will come. It is not about “us”…. never was, never will be. One day every knee will bow to our living and soon-coming King.
